Running Times

Apr 8, 2021

On this episode of Running Times, Gagz sits down with Cole Crosby to discuss his transition from a scrappy D1 collegiate athlete to sponsored elite runner, what it's like to battle sleep deprivation and hallucinations while running, where he sees the future of Ultrarunning, his place in the sport, and his ardence and passion for people to become a better version of themselves.

Cole Crosby is an Oklahoma Sooner who earned his spot on their track team as a walk-on in his sophomore year. After graduating in 2012, Cole went on to fulfill the mystic prophecies of his famed coach and has amassed a career so impressive - he landed the month of April in Ultrarunning Magazine's 2021 Calendar! After his most recent accomplishment of running the entire 197 mile length of New Jersey in just over 44 hours, Cole has deciphered his coach's words, and is hungrily eyeing future challenges.

Cole is a member of the USA Snowshoe Team, the Mountain Peak Fitness / Red Newt Racing Team, and is sponsored by: Nathan Sports, Coros, Janji Apparel, 361 Degrees, Fits Socks, Boom Nutrition, and Dion Snowshoes.
